Upper eyelid surgery removes excess skin and fat from the upper lids to restore a brighter, more open and rested appearance. Dr. Stephen Weber performs this precise procedure with the same surgical focus he brings to every facial rejuvenation treatment.
What Is Upper Eyelid Surgery?
Upper eyelid surgery, also called upper blepharoplasty, removes excess skin, muscle and sometimes fat from the upper eyelid. Eyelid skin naturally stretches over time, and when this happens on the upper lid it can limit peripheral vision as well as create a hooded, tired appearance.
Dr. Weber makes a precise incision along the natural crease of the upper eyelid, allowing the resulting scar to remain concealed once healed. Excess tissue is removed and the remaining skin is redraped for a smoother, more alert eye contour.
